Styria Media Group is one of the largest media companies in Austria. According to Diemdien, an Austrian media library, Styria emphasises its independence from the Catholic Church, claiming that it has never belonged to the church. However, for more than a century, the group belonged to the Catholic Media Association.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina Styria Media Group owns the daily newspaper Večernji list BH, through the Croatian Večernji list.
