Radio Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Radio Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an independent national public broadcaster in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which produces and airs domestic and international radio and television programs.

BHRT delivers its content through the television channel BHT1 and the public radio service BH Radio 1. BHRT broadcasts its programs 24 hours per day and covers more than 90 percent of the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a terrestrial signal.

Along with Radio Television of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Radio Television of the Republika Srpska, BHRT constitutes the Public Radio-Television system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

BHRT is governed by the Management board appointed by the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina. All the rules of governing and operating BHRT are based on Public Radio and TV System Law adopted by Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2005. Management board appoints the director of BHRT after public bidding.
