Glas Srpske emerged in 2003 after a reorganisation of a Banja Luka based company engaged in paper manufacturing, newspaper publishing, and newspaper printing, called Glas Srpski which was divided into three companies: “Glas Srpske”, “Glas Srpski-Grafika” and “Glas Srpski-Trgovina”/.The majority shareholder of Glas Srpske is Dnevne Nezavisne Novine, which owns 60.93 percent of the shares in the company, both companies are owned by the Kopanja Family. The family through Glas Srpske and Dnevne Nezavisne Novine publishes the daily Glas Srpske and the daily Nezavisne Novine.
